Staffing Assistant

Job Summary : The primary function of this position is to provide clerical support to branch staff by answering the phone lines, greeting applicants, customers and visitors in a professional manner. Supports employee application process. Maintains employee and customer files through data entry, filling, etc.

 

Essential Duties:

Explains the application process to applicants and answers question as they arise. Adminsters the application and skill testing to determine qualifications and abilities of prospective applicant. Record scores of all tests administered and enter new applicant information into the database. Schedules appointments for new applicants, customers, drug screenings and any other required tests. Answer the phone promptly and courteously, routes calls to appropriate personnel or takes complete messages.
