The primary roles of our Staffing Specialists are to recruit and hire employees, work with our clients to fill their staffing needs and develop and expand our client base. Our Staffing Associates juggle a wide variety of responsibilities that include scheduling appointments, conducting interviews and orientations, evaluating skills, making hiring decisions, selecting employees for assignments and interviews, scheduling interviews with clients, coordinating pre-assignment evaluations, administering post-hire paperwork, maintaining client and employee data base & paper files, completing arrival and performance checks, coaching, counseling, terminating employees, ending employee assignments, producing a weekly activity report, writing ads, processing payroll, recommending options for challenging situations, quoting bill rates, setting pay rates, setting up new accounts, completing unemployment claims, safety surveys, investigations, workers compensation claims, and creating customized orientations for employees to name a few!
An ideal candidate for our Staffing Supervisor position will have:

Our Staffing Supervisors receive an abundance of training! Beginning with ?Quest? (a comprehensive introduction to PrideStaff) and ?Staffing E-Trainer? (web-based training), then, on the job training with seasoned Staffing Managers and finally, PrideStaff's highly coveted training program ?Standards of Excellence for Operations!? to be able to confidently and consistently administer PrideStaff's hiring and selection process.
Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. Our Associates are involved in professional organizations including the Greater Stockton Employers Advisory Council, the Stockton and Lodi Chambers of Commerce, the San Joaquin Human Resources Assn., the San Joaquin Safety Council as well as advisory councils for local colleges and volunteer work for several charities throughout the year. Our continuous recruiting efforts include participating in career fairs for applicants, trade shows for clients, and speaking to students and graduates of local colleges.
