Account Manager - Power Gen Sales

My client is Florida's Leader in Diesel Power Sales, Service and Parts.  The company is constantly expanding and there are incredible opportunites for advancement.  We are looking for an expereinced generator sales profesional for this growing company.  The company has made a big commitment to sales support.This allows outside sales people to concentrate on developing and closing new business and not get tied down with submital drawings, shipping issues, etc.  This is a great opportunity.

 

JOB TITLE:   Account Manager

 

 

JOB DUTIES:

 
Develop a strategic sales plan for assigned market, territory, and customers
Prospect all power generation opportunities in assigned territory
Gather opportunity information from customers and or lead generation services
Develop and manage a business relationships within assigned territory
Gather and negotiate all cost associated with request for proposal from customers
Prepare equipment and/or services sales proposals
Maintain a log of all power generation opportunities in assigned territory
Follow-up on all power generation opportunities in assigned territory
Negotiate and close the sale of power generation equipment and/or services
Communicate customer needs and wants to project management team
Performs special assignments as requested.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 
2-Yr Associates of Science Degree in Construction Technology or 2-Yr Associates of Arts Degree with Electrical/Mechanical Engineering related subjects or equivalent diesel engine power generation sales training or equivalent technical equipment sales training.
Experience selling to electrical contractors, engineering firms and large end-users.
Advanced computer skills in MS Access, Word, Excel, Power Point, IE
Well-developed oral, written, and strong interpersonal skills.  Ability to multi-task, organize and plan effectively.
Knowledgeable using office equipment and performing typical office duties
