Air Quality Engineer

Air Quality Specialist - Ecology and Environment, Inc., a fully integrated environmental consulting company, is currently seeking Air Quality Specialists to work in our Houston, TX;  Baton Rouge, LA; Pensacola, FL or Tallahassee, FL offices. Candidates must posses a minimum MS/BS in science or engineering and have a minimum 5 years experience in air quality permitting, modeling, monitoring and regulatory experience, preferably in pipeline, power, offshore, and/or petrochemical sectors. Candidate will be expected to provide expertise in air quality permitting at both the state and federal levels, as they apply to Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) and Nonattainment New Source Review; emissions estimation procedures for a variety of source types; and atmospheric dispersion modeling procedures utilizing models such as ISC, AERMOD, OCD, and CALPUFF. Familiarity with the NEPA process as it relates to the assessment of impacts on air quality and noise is also desired. Candidates must be able to work independently and with a team of multi-disciplinary professionals and possess good verbal and written communication skills. Travel is required.
