CAPEX Support Manager

We are currently seeking a CAPEX Support Manager for our Shared Services Center in Midland, TX.

CAPEX Support Manager

In this role, you will function as an effective team member with the Operations Support Group,  focusing on team goals and objectives with a positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to many different assignments.  Additional duties include AFE tracking and monitoring approval status of all AFE?s in the system, and overseeing AFE?s for completeness and accuracy. The CAPEX Support Manager is also responsible for updating and maintaining CAPEX budgets for all divisions as well as reporting CAPEX spending and approvals to management and managing the company-wide CAPEX budget process. You will also produce monthly rig refurbishment status reports, AFE tracking and equipment tracking reports, act as the liaison with current leasing companies, provide cost analysis as required, participate in bi-weekly conference calls with Equipment, Trucking and Asset Managers, and perform other duties as required.

 

Requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, 4 year business degree preferred;  an understanding of company ethics and safety compliance policies, and proficiency in MS office products, such as Excel, Word and Access. Must be able to work without supervision. Prefer previous experience with CMMS, experience in budgeting, project management, cost tracking and procurement, and an oil service industry background.
