Consultant - Heavy Oils/Crude/Asphalt 45.67-60.1 $/hr

Leading Independent refinery in the state of Texas is seeking a qualified Process Coordinator - Asphalt Technology professional with a minimum of 15 years experience. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, leader mentor and change agent. This position works collaboratively with the companies refineries to improve yields, increase EDC utilization, reduce operating costs and develop capital projects. Key responsibilities include but are limited to the following: Leverages knowledge and expertise to support the refineries and enable the company to deliver world class capability around refining and improve efficiencies of daily operations, Works closely with refineries and develop and maintain in-depth up to date understanding of current state for each refinery, participates in audits to assess capabilities of each refinery and keep strengths and weaknesses well understood and in front of Refinery Management, Determine characteristics of desired state of refining with respect to Crude, Heavy Oils, Separation and Distillation, stay abreast of latest developments within technology, equipment and systems related Crude, Coking, Heavy Oils, Distillation and Separation, A BS degree in a technical field, Chemical Engineering is preferred for the ideal candidate.
