Controls Engineer

Northern is currently hiring 2 Controls Engineers to support a variety of projects ranging from cogeneration to renewable energy power solutions in a dynamic and growing business climate. These projects provide a unique opportunity for direct involvement utilizing the latest technologies from proposal to implementation phases.


Responsibilities include: Conceptual design and support for proposal preparation Completion of detailed system design Supervision and oversight during project construction Validation of completed design 



Required Qualifications:

BSEE, with minimum 3-5 years experience in Controls Engineering field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team and organizational skills Familiar with power generation and/or transmission and distribution Familiarity with foreign and domestic codes and standards a plus You MUST be eligible to work in the United States.  Northern will not provide H1B sponsorships for this position.

This position is located in Anaheim, CA.  We will also consider placing employees in San Leandro, CA, NY, NY, or Barre, VT.  We will provide relocation for the right candidate.
