Cost Analyst / Engineer

Job Description



? Monitors project progress and projects costs to completion of project.  Reports negative and positive trends that will effect a project?s cost.

? Responsible for generation, maintenance and closure of PWAs

? Integrates vendor, contractor efforts in the area of cost reporting and controls.

? Supports Project Managers in the preparation and routing of scope control, estimate revisions, preparation of project cash flows and integrates cost data from all input sources.

? Supports estimating and scheduling efforts as requested.

? Understands Earned Value Analysis (EVA), schedule critical path and dependencies.

 



Qualifications



Required:

? 5 plus years as a project controls cost engineer with experience in construction and/or maintenance work environment on large complex projects.

? Working knowledge of financial analysis / reporting processes.

? Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated, responsible and reliable.

? Must be organized, have effective verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred:

? Bachelor?s degree in business related study.

? Estimating experience.

Scheduling experience with Primavera 3.1
