Critical Systems Controls Engineer
- Implement improvements to the processes within the Critical Systems area for increased efficiency and optimum performance.
- Support the digital control systems related to Critical Systems. The support includes, but is not limited to, the trouble-shooting and debugging of ladder logic and scripts, devices, networking, man machine interfaces, and single loop controllers.
- As required, develop functional specifications, design and implement control system upgrades and prepare documentation and protocols for validations.
- Prepare requisitions for the purchase of capital equipment and contract services.
- Perform investigative tests and feasibility studies.
- Supervise and direct contract personnel and outside vendors in the performance of contracted services.
- Provide training and guidance to Plant Systems operations and maintenance staff as related to control logic modifications.
- Administer the computer controls and security procedures as per 21 CFR Part 11 for Plant Systems control system processes.
- Manage capital improvement projects from the initial concept state through completion.- Provide support for data management and the control and monitoring of equipment
