Customer Service Agent II - Florida

Customer Service Associates provide consistent and courteous total customer service by accurately and efficiently processing all types of customer telephone contacts including requests for service, disconnects, high bills, credit arrangements, complaints, billing inquiries, power outage calls, Mass Market Programs, and other related customer service work. Correctly respond to customer inquiries, thereby limiting FPSC and escalated calls. Negotiate mutually satisfactory resolution of difficult and unusual customer concerns by providing customer satisfaction that will result in the customer providing high scores on the Fastrack customer service survey. CSA's must achieve high levels of customer satisfaction while also meeting department goals for efficiency and cost effectiveness. Inform and/or persuade customers to participate in new products and services, as well as, energy conservation programs to support departmental goals. CSC Associates are encouraged to seek ways to improve work processes and increase their skills and knowledge level.

Must exhibit high work standards and strong skills through past performance in stress tolerance, judgment, and problem analysis. Must demonstrate professionalism, high job motivation, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications: -High school diploma or GED required. Previous customer service experience is preferred. -Must be proficient in the use of Windows and PC applications. -Requires ability to work rotating shifts and availability for evening and weekend call out response due to high call volume, storm conditions, and emergency situations. -Customer Service Representative (CSR) aptitude testing is required -Candidates Fluent in both English and Spanish are highly desired.
