Electrical Power Engineer

Yoh Company, the first and one of the largest technical staffing firms in the United States,  has long term contract position (six to nine months++) available for an  Electrical/Power Engineer.  The position may go permanent for the right candidate.   The position is located in the Philadelphia area.  Hoourly rate is open.   If you have the qualifications that my client requires, please e-mail your resume in Word format, along with hourly rate desired, availability and professional references. REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
*Power Engineering

*Experience with Neural Network
*Excellent communication skills.
*Programming abilities and background (ie, TCL, Perl, and Unix Shell)
*Ability to work within strict deadlines and schedules.

*Two years + experience experience with the Neural Network, VSA, and TSA are required. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
VSA (Voltage Stability Analysis): currently in production: contractor will perform data analysis, ongoing maintenance, working with trainer to train dispatchers
*TSA (Transient Stability Analysis): currently in Beta Form; contractor will conduct user scenario testing (initial testing is completed) and work with trainer to train dispatchers
*Both VSA and TSA are active projects with set deadlines that contractor must work within.
*Neural Network: Modify current Net Interchange schedule and develop forecasting for future schedules
*Contractor will work with Sr. Strategist and will be the hands-on resource
