Energetics seeks an Energy Analyst for its Washington Office to support on-going work with the U.S. Department of Energy and other clients. Energy Analysts work directly with our program management staff to conduct research; prepare studies, analysis, and program information materials; and organize technical and non-technical meetings on energy and environmental topics related to energy efficiency and renewable energy issues. Responsibilities include carrying out a wide variety of assignments from clients and co-workers, preparing presentations and briefing packages, conducting public policy and program analyses; and supporting interagency activities.

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the energy industry as a consultant, researcher, or public policy analyst. Technical degree (Bachelors minimum, Masters preferred) in public policy or administration, energy policy, environmental science, or related fields.? Candidates must possess strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; excellent oral, written, and planning communications skills; ability to work pro actively as part of a close-working team; strong attention to detail; and ability to function independently.? Proven skills in using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
