Energy Conservation Program Coordinator
As the second oldest company in Georgia, Atlanta Gas Light and its parent AGL Resources are not content to do business in the same old way. Today, AGL Resources is positioned to become the preeminent distributor of natural gas along the east coast, providing service through six utilities, two gas storage facilities and an asset management company.
The Energy Conservation Program Coordinator will establish and maintain key relationships with Georgia Public Service Commission (GAPSC), community based social service/action organizations, marketers and other partners to maximize energy education and participation in energy assistance programs. Assist in development and delivery of training materials and customer communication materials. Ensure the distribution of training materials to community based social service organizations and other organizations.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
? Establish and maintain key working relationships through partnerships with various state & local and community organizations to insure effective educational outreach and to promote participation in energy assistance and weatherization programs.
? Work with members of the natural gas collaborative team to develop training, communication and outreach materials for AGL programs. Deliver training as needed
? Maintain knowledge of regulatory and other external changes that may affect energy assistance programs, consumer options, and consumer rights.
? Works as necessary on weekends and nights to accommodate the schedules of targeted audiences.
? Develop a detailed plan to implement the Natural Gas Strategic Plan.
? Facilitate meetings of the Natural Gas Collaborative Team.
? Solidify the outreach network and partnership.
? Schedule outreach events.
? Design cirricula and tailored presentations.
? Oversee the execution of outreach follow-up activities.
? Track and monitor the progress of the Consumer Education Program.
? Coordinate UGA FACS activities.
Education and Experience Required:
? Bachelors Degree or higher in a related field from an accredited college or university.
? 3-5 Yrs of relevant business experience
Skills Required:
?Proficient in oral and written communications
? Proficient in public speaking
? Demonstrate ability in building and maintaining professional relationships
? Leadership and team building
? Proficient in MS Suite of products
Certifications/Licenses:
Valid driver?s license and access to a state registered vehicle
