Engineering Rapid Response Team

Possesses specialty skills and performs advanced tasks independently with minimal supervisory review.
Performs engineering tasks independently area and actively imparts knowledge to others.
Higher level of accountability than an Engineer 2.
Must be able to manage and implement engineering analysis and technical programs, has wide latitude to make technical decisions within accountabilities.

Major Accountabilities:
Perform system and component troubleshooting
Provide repair recommendations for mechanical equipment including valves and pumps
Support plant operations and maintenance on emergent plant issues
Develop and implement mechanical design change packages

Required:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
Previous nuclear plant experience in piping systems, vessels and valves
Knowledgable in the ASME and ANSI codes relative to mechanical equipment
Must have good written and oral communication skills
Must possess good computer skills
Must be able to serve as amember of the emergency preparedness team at Oyster Creek

Preferred:
Professional Engineer Registration
Advanced technical degree or related course work
