Gas Scheduling Analyst

Vistronix, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Gas Scheduling Analyst in the Kennett Square, PA area.  Individual will be responsible for providing daily forecasting of customers usage to utilities; daily balancing of natural gas delivered to utilities; receiving and nominating natural gas contract changes at City Gate; handling of service interruptions; ensures that all scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner with regard to pipeline and department deadlines; communicating to the trading group all pertinent information to assist in decision making; communicating with counterparties to schedule physical delivery of gas via pipeline systems; promoting positive counterparty relationships through efficient scheduling practices; analyzing data, monitors and reconciling imbalances; and entering all relevant data into a gas management system and ensuring the data is accurate. Bachelor?s Degree or work-related experience required.  Individual must have 1- 3 years job related experience in business or related field. Experience working with relational databases, knowledge of energy management systems required along with a demonstrated proficiency in PC applications such as Excel, Access and Word. Understanding of electric I gas utility tariffs needed. Financial and business related problem solving skills required along with the ability to manage multiple projects. Wholesale or retail supply or power marketing experience with acquisition, scheduling and reconciliation of energy purchases experience preferred.  Strong analytical skills, experience with financial statements and evaluation techniques, strong organizational skills a strong plus.
