We are seeking a Gas Transportation Scheduler for our Energy Procurement department in San Francisco.

 

Gas Transportation Scheduler

 

Responsibilities:

 

Nominations:Nominate core gas supplies and trades on appropriate pipelines (NGTL,TransCanada BC, GTN,TW, El Paso, Kern River, GT&S). Manage all transportation and storage contracts.Communicate availability of excess capacity for potential sale.Input all trades into gas management system. 

 

Allocations:Allocate all gas supplies to by trading partners, price and pipeline.Enter all allocations into the gas management system.

 

Maintain Records:Maintain trade tickets and enter nomination records into the gas management system.Verify accuracy of all data for gas accounting.

 

Monitor Supplier Performance:Monitor daily performance of all trades.Identify problem areas and work with suppliers to develop acceptable solutions.  Other projects as assigned. 

 

Essential/Required:2 - 4 years of experience in Gas Scheduling, Gas Accounting or Gas TradingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsBA/BS degree Ability and willingness to begin work at 6:00 a.m. on weekdays; ability and willingness to work some weekend on-call duties
