Position Description:
Chevron Products Company is accepting online applications for the position of HES Team Lead (0608-50162582) located in Kapolei, Hawaii through August 28, 2006.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Supervises, facilitates, coaches, and mentors the Environmental, Safety, Health, PSM, Security, and Emergency Response Team. Responsible for establishing and maintaining standards for team members' performance. Must have basic knowledge of air, water, and waste regulations, Chevron HES Policies, OE (Policy 530), OSHA Regulations, PSM, Security, and Refinery process operations. Develops compliance strategies for both routine operations and long term planning, and represents the Refinery in public forums. Participates on the Leadership Team, as well as other Refinery committees and councils, supports and participates appropriately in Natural Team Best Practices including air, waste, safety, PSM, and HES Managers.
Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
-Leads and sets clear expectations, provides feedback, supports PMP, and provides career development opportunities for 8 team members.
-Participates as an active member of the Refinery Leadership Team. Supports and participates appropriately in natural teams.
-Coordinates the Refinery?s efforts to ensure compliance with all governmental HES regulations, Company HES policies, PSM, Policy 530 and Responsible Care. Oversees Compliance Assurance process.
-Makes appropriate recommendations to Refinery regarding the impact of regulatory requirements. Works to obtain permit conditions that afford operational flexibility. Integrates ESFH requirements into the Refinery Business Plan.
-Develops proactive relationships with regulating agencies at the local and Federal level.
