I&C Engineer - I&C/DCS/Project 40-52 $/hr

Large utility has immediate need for Senior I&C Project Engineers with BSEE or MSEE and a minimum of 10 years experience with review and/or development of instrumentation and control documentation for the purpose of ensuring that the documentation follows the Design Basis and applicable FGD/SCR Program Design Criteria. Documentation shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1) P & ID s as related to instrumentation issues; 2) Process system descriptions; 3) Control communication network diagrams; 4) Process elementary diagrams; 5) Process wiring and cabling diagrams; 6) Process instrumentation specifications; 7) One line diagrams as related to control issues; 8) SAMA and Boolean logic diagrams and 9) Documents defining the design basis for work scopes. Experience with providing oversight of architect/engineer?s (A/E) instrumentation and control system(s) design progress and compliance with the Design Basis via visits to A/E?s facilities, equipment vendor facilities, and project construction sites. Experience with engineering services section(s) to coordinate engineering activities and define interface responsibilities between with respect to integration of new and existing facilities, equipment, and controls. Candidate will provide technical support and oversight during control system factory check outs, construction, and start-up of the FGD process. Experience with DCS Systems is desired. PE would be preferred but not required. Position is long-term contract with per diem a possibility for qualified candidates.
