   TITLE:   Inside Sales Representative- Corpus Christi, Texas

KEY

RELATIONSHIPS: Reporting to the Office Manager,  the ISR will provide a direct contact for external customers & line Managers in the selling of Products and services (e.g. pipe, valves and fittings,) and all follow-up activities needed to ensure good, future customer relations; the representative?s responsibilities will include the handling of specific, key customers and ensuring a superior client experience.  

 

EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree is desired.

 

SUMMARY OF

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

?   Coordinate and monitor information including  purchase orders, customer orders  procurement match, pricing materials including levels and lists as well as  contracts.

?  Establish excellent rapport with customers and vendors gaining customer confidence and extending relationships with McJunkin, our products, and pricing structure.

?  Work with Regional and Local Management regarding customer account information, delivery times, and customer feedback on products and services.

?  Inform other McJunkin locations of actions, which may incur changes to that branch?s operating procedures.

?  Handle customer concerns, complaints, and corrective actions concerning McJunkin products, services, and personnel.

?  Negotiate with vendors for best product prices.

?  Handle confidential information relating to product and resale cost and expense items.

?  Support Sales Management Process.

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED:   Fully qualified candidates will be strategic thinkers yet hands on executors who possess the following attributes:

 

 

?  Base of experience ideally spanning at least 3 to 5 years duration which is likely to include career experience as an Inside Sales Representative. Prior industry experience in a distribution, PVF or chemical/ oil & gas related field a must.

?  Prior experience will include strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Office, along with a demonstrated ability to gain proficiency with new computer systems.

?  Personal qualities of high energy, maturity, flexibility, broad business vision and intelligence coupled with self motivation and resourcefulness.

?  Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to contribute to the quality process by learning/developing new procedures and functions within the company and department.

?  Ability to relate to the challenges offered by a rapid growth, results driven organization where overtime is often required.
