Industrial Wastewater Operator (WE673)

Veolia Water North America, the worldwide leader in water/wastewater treatment services, is looking for an Industrial Wastewater Operator for our Henderson, NV project.

Provides day-to-day monitoring/operations of equipment, routine lab tests, and minor maintenance activities.  Operates equipment manually and through instrument panels, computer terminals, and programmable logic control units in an assigned area.  Performs field tests (chemical, physical, and biological) in order to pace chemical dosages for process and odor control units or alter unit processes.

 

Experience/Education:  3-5 years of relevant experience.  Requires knowledge of the methods, techniques, and practices of water/wastewater treatment, as acquired through one year of experience.  Must have the ability to diagnose process problems in single or multiple unit processes and take remedial action: and to troubleshoot basic equipment.
