Manager of Energy

Responsibilities:



 

Develops energy efficiency strategies and works within Sales Operations and with our other divisions to successfully implement these strategies.  Responsible for effectively managing the electricity, gas and water expenses.  Develops working relationships with utility companies, energy providers and energy associations for the purpose of procuring energy commodities in a deregulated marketplace and identifies/analyzes incentive programs, conservation opportunities and technological advances to reduce energy expenses.  Conservation measures include intelligent building design, selection of energy efficient equipment, and utilization of the energy management computer system to reduce usage, interpret and manage the information, and report results to senior management.  Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

Candidates must have over 3 years of experience in Energy Management, as well as demonstrated supervisory responsibilities.  Knowledge is preferred in the areas of energy equipment, electro-mechanical devices, utility deregulation policy, energy management control systems and building systems design.  Additionally, strong organization, written and verbal communications, supervisory and computer skills are required.
