Mgr Maintenance Reliability

Manage the maintenance function for utilities and facilities to ensure equipment optimization and facility - system - equipment reliability.  Responsible for implementation of improvements in uptime, reliability, efficiency, cost savings and productivity.  Manage spending and headcount to budget, develop long and short term maintenance strategies, optimize  maintenance planning, scheduling, and training.  Support shutdowns and capital improvement projects.  Support continuous improvement through  improvements in equipment, technology, processes, procedures, and workflow.  Ensure a consistent,  proactive, and preventative approach to maintenance to prevent facility or equipment failures.


A BS degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 8 years of directly related maintenance - reliability engineering experience  in a regulated environment with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.  Demonstrated knowledge of latest industry trends in facility and utility maintenance.  A working knowledge of maintenance management systems, maintenance performance indicators, preventative - predictive maintenance techniques, root cause analysis, and basic engineering principles are essential.  Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal,  along with strong continuous improvement skills.  Demonstrated success in collaboration at all levels within an organization.  Knowledge of cGMP and OSHA regulations, validation and FDA compliance is desired.
