National Warranty & Risk Manager

The National Warranty & Risk Manager plans and implements an aggressive strategy of territory expansion / interstate business and will position the Warranty?s Group?s ability to execute on Service Contracts in the national arena.

Position Responsibilities:
Expands regional warranty programs (utility, appliances, etc.)into multi-state enterprise while forming operational strategies and directing entity growth from concept through operational phases.
Develops, implements, and monitors centralized operational reports to manage environmental changes, work outputs, productivity, quality, cost control and profitability.
Growing interstate business by leveraging and building on current vendor and customer relationships.
Identifies, implements, and manages cost savings on revenue enhancements to improve the Warranty group's financial performance.
Builds the support infrastructure (IT / Personnel / Processes / Procedures).
Ensures insurance, regulatory and operational compliance across all regions, manages risk pools and books of contract business across multiple states.
Owns full Profit & Loss responsibility and policy and procedure development for the business vertical and directs the claims processing, service network, and ensures program compliance and business continuation activity.
Manages day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and productivity and keeps critical departmental and expansion initiatives on target.
Supervises, leads and mentors the strategic organization responsible for warranties to effectively manage the business.

Position Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years managing an operational department with direct ownership of policy development.
Previous experience in a profit center environment
Solid leadership skills
Subject Matter experience similar to the insurance, warranty, risk, consumer products at a national level.
Ability to support a large-scale interstate business model.
Graduate Degree in Business or related field
Skilled in the management of insurance or service contract pooled risk profiles.
Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
Proven negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Oracle experience is a plus.
