O&M Tech - Power Generation/O&M/I&C 18.27-20.19 $/hr

Well respected power generation company is seeking two plant maintenance technicians for contract, possible temp to hire positions in central Mississippi. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring, servicing and maintenance of all plant equipment and systems in a large combined cycle power plant. Duties include monitoring plant equipment performance through testing and analysis and reporting variances through management processes. The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of P&ID's, schematics, and equipment manuals for troubleshooting plant equipment. Two years related work experience or equivalent educational experience with steam and electric generation are required, with specific exp in power generation strongly desired. Additional exp as a machinist, certified welding tech, or electronics or instrumentation experiences all helpful. Candidate must possess the ability to read dial indicators, perform laser alignments and read precision measuring instruments. Experience in working with high, medium and low voltage equipment, pneumatic valves, hydraulic valves, MOVs, pumps, HVAC and other maintenance equipment. Specific experience in GE frame 7 technology and GE D11 steam turbines helpful, but not required. Specific I&C exp in a plant environment strongly desired.
