OPERATIONS MANAGER III

In executing these projects, our people embrace integrity, excellence, teamwork and accountability - the values that connect us across the globe.Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant including ensuring that an adequate supply of safe, reliable water is available and that it meets all applicable standards. Develops guidelines for operators to follow in operation the treatment plant, pump stations, finished water storage facilities, well pump houses and raw water facilities. Responsibilities also include the O&M of the treated water storage tanks, wells and the various structures within the surface water system.

Requirements:

Rhode Island Water Treatment Operator License Grade IV (or ability to obtain within 1 year). Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Experience in preparation of operational and financial reports and forecasting. Ability to analyze operating records and lab results to determine necessary changes. Successful experience in new facility start up strongly preferred. Ability to foster and maintain working relationship with customer representatives, union and employees a must. Experience successfully managing a Collective Bargaining Unit of at least 12 members.
