Operations & Maintenance Manager ? Water Treatment Industry

 

 

Job description: Oversee system operations and maintenance independent contractors managing the O&M of project facilities; oversee day-to-day requirements for system O&M effort; perform contract document reviews from O&M perspective including, but not limited to, safety, security, compatibility with existing facilities & inventory, preventive maintenance, risk assessment, service life and facility life-cycle analyses; develop and oversee development of future maintenance, cost and revenue generation reports; assess facility needs including replacement recommendations; oversight of design and construction to verify project facility?s equipment and software are compatible and meet the full range of communication to existing systems.

 

Experience/Requirements: 20-25 years related experience.  Licensed operator in the water industry with emphasis of experience in water treatment and supply; knowledge of asset management and O&M issues associated with development of large Capital Improvement programs; driver?s license required.

 

Project description:  Project management and peak support services for the San Diego County Water Authority on the Capital Improvement Program.  This is a five year contract in which services will be provided to the SDCWA in Project Management, Controls and Administration, Construction Management, Operations & Maintenance, Design Management and Contractor Outreach.
