Operations Specialist - Measurement

We currently have an opening in the Manvel/Houston area for an Operation Specialist - Measurement. Requires measurement instrument certification and a minimum of 3 years of field measurement experience with gas measurement and controls background; repairing and maintenance. Should possess skills related to computer application, implementation and testing. Must have an understanding of the principles of natural gas calculation and working knowledge of orifice meter, turbine meter, P.D. meter, Bristol EFM, Fisher Roc EFM and varied control devices. Must be able to be on call and serve as primary (operations) contact with local distribution companies, producers or direct sales customers pertaining to meter station operations.

You will be responsible for installing, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing various types of measurement equipment, conduct gas quality determination, utilizing gas chromatograph and moisture analyzers. In addition, you will perform inspection on meter tubes, regulators, relief valves and controllers to insure all installation and repairs meet industry codes, standards and safety procedures.
