Outage Manager - Nuclear

Responsible for directing the planning and scheduling of all work activities for outages (planned and forced) and minimizing the duration of the outage without impacting the safety and health of the public, the employees or the plant.

? Manage the development, implementation and coordination of work plans and schedules for all outage activities

? Provide effective planning, scheduling and coordination for all aspects of refueling, maintenance and modification work

? Ensure the duration of the outage is minimized by effectively coordinating the activities for each window of the outage

? Ensure the outage logic, sequencing and scope supports the critical path

? Ensure the work packages are completed and all parts are ordered and available for the scheduled outage work

? Direct the coordination between operations, engineering and maintenance to ensure all necessary work is scheduled

? Ensure maximum optimization of plant resources in planning and scheduling the outage

? Ensure post-outage assessments and critiques on the adequacy of planning documents and systems are conducted, and recommendations for improvements are approved and incorporated for future outages

? Ensure that all outage schedule development milestones are defined, coordinated and achieved.
