Plant Engineer - Power Generation/Plant 60-80 K/yr
Regional electric energy and utility company is seeking a degreed (ME or EE) Plant Engineer for a direct hire position in southern Ohio. Candidate should have 8+ years in a fossil fueled power plant operations department. Utility experience is highly desired. Candidate should have in-plant experience and background with related power equipment, systems, and plant performance is a plus. Candidate must have understanding of power plant operations, including the interrelationship of engineering with operation and maintenance functions and familiarity with ASME Performance Test Codes (e.g., PTC 6.1, PTC 4.1, etc.), Power Piping Code, and Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code background is beneficial. Also requires good oral and written communications skills, strong planning capabilities and the skills to analyze and interpret data to make sound recommendations to the Plant Manager. Experience and training in the Navy is a plus.
