Power Plant Operations

Cardinal Cogen is located on the Stanford University campus next to Palo Alto Ca. has 3 immediate openings. 

These position's will be within the Operations Dept., reports to the Operations Shift Supervisor. This position operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains all equipment necessary to generate power, chilled water, and steam systems.

Operates, monitors, and maintains turbines, generators, pumps, water treatment plants, boilers, motors, chillers, and associated auxillary equipment.

Performs all work during assigned shift in a safe, continuous and efficient manner while maintaining enviromental and housekeeping standards.

Must be able to follow step by step written procedures.

Available for rotating shift work and overtime as required.

Good oral and written skills. Basic computer skills.

Ability to work in a power plant enviroment that includes climbing, walking long distances, standing for the majority of the shift, and ability to lift 50 pounds.

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3+ years job related work experience and a high school diploma. Navy (GS, GSE, BT, MM, EN) and maritime experience is desirable.
