Power Quality Engineer II

Position Summary/Accountabilities:

Works primarily in the areas of energy applications and analysis such as power quality, IR Thermography, power utilization consultation, corrective measures, predictive/preventive maintenance, and other related areas. Routinely completes activities and tasks focusing on closure of sales commitments through the implementation/completion of technical requirements delivering the range of products and services developed for managed customers. Some project management activity may be required, however works with Energy Applications project managers to facilitate activities relating to customer commitments. While technical focus will be primarily to electrical end-use applications, activity in, or relating to other forms of energy utilization and analysis can be expected. Frequently provides general technical support to account management personnel to assist in meeting sales and other strategic goals within the key, major, and wholesale customer segments. Occasionally provides support to the Technical Sales Services Energy Delivery team on an as needed basis. Provides technical support to the marketing group to assist in product/service development and re-development. Assists sales and service training team in the development and delivery of technical training in support of overall training objectives. Work performed is moderately to highly complex, requiring sound analyses, experience and judgment.
