Candidate will be responsible for comprehensively developing proper technical resolutions of complex market and tariff issues across multiple departments within the ISO.

Responsibilities include:

' Researching, analyzing and assisting in resolving issues related to the electricity markets
' Coordinating and supporting MSS Customer Outreach Program including traveling to customer locations to investigate and/or resolve issues
' Identifying and coordinating an ISO response to emerging or latent issues related to the electricity markets
' Recommending and communicating appropriate changes to rules, processes and procedures needed to implement proposed solutions
' Generating support from internal and external stakeholders
' Managing the development of ISO positions on issues and building internal and Participant support for those positions

Requirements include:
' Bachelor's Degree in technical/quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or Business
' Advanced degree, including MBA, desirable
' 8'12 years of experience in the utility industry or related experience such as consulting
' Demonstrated analytical capability to identify problems, scope studies, develop results, write reports, and make presentations
' Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
' Knowledge and understanding of wholesale electricity markets and the role of the various market products
' Demonstrated ability to facilitate a group and forge a consensus
' Good Project Management skills
' Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as WORD and EXCEL.

Desirable qualities include:

' Experience in one or more of the following: ISO/Electric Market Settlements, Energy Transaction Scheduling, or System Operations
' Experience in design and development of software solutions for the electric industry
' High-level understanding of generation operations data
' Experience with PowerPoint and Access and/or other database querying tools.
