Process Engineer / New Grad 0-3 years exp.

 

Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing, is currently seeking a Process Engineer for our Longview, Texas office.  This person will be responsible for operational support of plant facilities and development and execution of small plant related projects.

Specific Accountabilities:

 

? Close coordination with day to day operations of gas plants and gas treatment facilities with perspective of helping to optimize the performance of the operations and support operational needs to make changes as requested. 

? Develops scopes and estimates for various small plant related projects.

? Develop understanding of gas plant treatment and processing as well as operations and maintenance needs for the plants.

? Performs other projects as assigned.

? This is a development and training position for an associate level engineer and will require traveling to various plant sites to learn the variety of gas treating and processing operations.

? Ability to learn and run software for modeling plant processes and maintain models for various plants.

? Candidate will spend time at new plant construction sites assisting in the inspection process and learning plants from the ground up.

? Participate in plant PSM exercises and update P & ID?s as needed.

 

Typical Qualifications:

 

? Bachelor?s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred).

? Ability to work with a diverse group of field and professional personnel.

? Ability to work independently and completely self directed.

? Must have excellent problem solving skills.

? Ability to communicate with others, both orally and in writing.

? Willing to rotate working locations in the field.
