Job Title:? Project Manager 2/3

Manage, coordinate, and administer a project, from the conceptual stages through planning, implementation, and project closeout.? Implement strategy, as defined by customers, and use innovative approaches to develop solutions.? Develop budgets and schedules, obtain required resources, monitor progress, and initiate action to assure project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed to expectations.? Monitor performance of project staff and provide feedback, as necessary.? Build functional teams across technical disciplines and organizations, including the customer organization.?

Resolve problems and coordinate the final turnover of the project to the customer.? Establish and maintain a strong and effective customer relationship.? Provide leadership and direction for the integrated project team.? Work with division and department management to develop new business through customer contacts and proposal development.? Specific assignments are expected to be for the Nuclear Programs division to support the Irradiation Test Programs department customers, including interface with the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) staff.

Qualifications:

Applicable Bachelor degree with at least seven years of relevant technical and management experience in activities on government or commercial projects/programs, or applicable advanced degree plus eight years of applicable experience.? Five years of project management related experience.

Knowledge of nuclear facilities and operations, specifically ATR, is a plus.? Excellent communications skills are necessary to provide interface between organizations and customer.
