In executing these projects, our people embrace integrity, excellence, teamwork and accountability - the values that connect us across the globe.As a member of the leadership team, the Quality Assurance Manager has primary responsibility for all aspects of quality programs including the development, establishment and maintenance of quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and controls ensuring that performance and quality conforms to established standards guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting guidelines and internal policies to assure compliance
Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, statistical process control analyses and audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications
Develops methods to check the quality of processes and services and improving the quality of existing processes and services
Monitors procedures already in place to maintain quality standards of existing processes and services
Develops innovative programs to focus employees on improving quality processes and services
Develops centralized and standardized quality metrics and reporting
Benchmarks best in class service and process quality metrics for implementation
Develops a process whereby quality can be used as a value added marketing tool for the business
Provides guidance and support to leadership team to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Communicates vision for h organization
Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems; ability to deal with very difficult concepts and complex variables
Prepares and makes comprehensive presentations
Prepares and maintains Quality manuals and procedures to ensure compliance to all quality standard, code, and regulatory requirements
Establishes and maintains reporting mechanisms to discover trends which may adversely impact the quality of the processes and/or services and acts on that information to constantly improve the quality of the process and/or service
Conducts internal audit programs in accordance with determined guidelines and Quality System requirements. Reports all findings and non-conformances to management providing recommended corrective action
Conducts supplier surveys and audits in support of the company purchasing program and maintains approved vendor lists
Trains all personnel in the quality programs and procedures
Assists in the development of the departmental safety, quality and environmental budgets
Takes complex issues, breaks into manageable parts and finds realistic solutions
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, 10+ years of high level experience in quality/operations management with increasing responsibilities for quality direction and planning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential. Must be capable of interacting with all levels of management. Solid analytical and technical skills, related IT skills, thorough knowledge of best in class principles. Ability to effectively communicate, train, and direct others. Extensive travel required.
