Receiving Clerk

JOB OBJECTIVE:  Perform the process of safely loading, unloading, receiving, and putting away of all incoming material on a daily basis as well as processing receiving paperwork daily in a neat, professional and timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by branch management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operations.

 

Receiving

?  Receive all incoming material from vendors and customers

?  Unload incoming shipments from trucks

?  Verify the delivery receipt by comparing receiving document to packing list. Note damaged or shortage on delivery receipt if necessary

?  Check material in using a receiving document

?  Complete all receiving paperwork and enter in computer

?  Pull and tag all special order material for immediate or future shipment

?  Stock and stage received materials in Tag and Hold or shipping lane, whichever applicable
