Reliability Engineer

Shell Oil Products US is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer for its Los Angeles, California location.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for collecting and providing actionable analysis of refinery reliability performance data. You will champion the Mitigate Potential Threats (MPT) work process to assure that we are identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating reliability threats in the Refinery. You will provide support and conduct risk assessments as needed, as well as support Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and the investigation process by facilitating reliability investigations. Key Accountabilities Include: - Actionable analysis of unplanned EDC losses - Elimination of refinery threats through coaching in the use of the MPT process - Clear alignment on refinery top threats and mitigations though effective application of MPT - Improved integration of systems and processes - Improved risk based decision making - Effective organizational learning through leadership of organization learning events - Effective Production (OEMI) Teams.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering and have approximately 3 or more years experience in a refinery or chemical plant in an engineering function.
