Growth in the energy industry has created openings for  Reservoir Engineers with domestic and international experience for exploration and production companies with divisions located in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado and California.

 

RESERVOIR SIMULATION ENGINEER - Houston, TX will conduct field studies of large carbonate fields; optimization of existing CO2 flood projects and design of new and expanded flood projects; model construction; run predictive cases; assist with preparation of project investment proposals. Position requires experience in building simulation models and experience with CO2 & EOS modeling, carbonate reservoirs and O&G economics.  QUALIFICATIONS: BS or higher in Engineering

 

SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for Houston, TX  will coordinate with Business Units in A&D analysis and prepare IRC/BOD presentation content; conduct competitor analysis on assets or companies for acquisitions; review and perform economic valuation of potential acquisition and divestiture opportunities; retain primary responsibility for content and quality of M&A and competitor analysis data; assist in M&A target identification; perform technical evaluation in support of Lookback analysis as well as apply advanced technical knowledge of petroleum engineering and E&P valuation concepts to conduct complex analyses.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER - Midland, TX  wil be a critical member of an Integrated Reservoir Management team to identify, develop and execute profitable infill and exploitation drilling projects, plug back and deepening projects and to optimize CO2 flood and primary gas well operations in the Permian Basin. Responsibilities will also include production and reserve forecasting for the annual budget and developing and implementing field depletion plans.  QUALIFICATIONS:BS degree in Petroleum Engineering and 5+ years industry experience, including Permian Basin experience.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER (GOM DEEPWATER DEVELOPMENT) New Orleans, LA will work with the Deepwater Development Group optimizing existing production including reservoir surveillance.  Requires 3+ years Reservoir Engineering experience - not necessary to have Deepwater experience.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER (GOM DEEPWATER EXPLORATION) New Orleans, LA will optimize and/or select development types for new discoveries; reservoir analysis; reserve estimation production forecast of non-operated properties.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER (ONSHORE GULF COAST) New Orleans, LA will perform and document reservoir studies in order to estimate and report oil and gas reserves; optimize reserve recovery in coordination with Production Engineering and Geology departments; monitor well performance and recommend remedial work or workovers; develop and maintain cash flow models on company assets.

RESERVOIR ENGINEER - Houston, TX will provide specialized consulting services to clients in the use and application of reservoir modeling, reservoir simulation and pressure transient analysis.  Experience should include general reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, reservoir engineering aspects of fractures reservoirs, petrophysical property analysis, well test analysis and fluid property characterization with an emphasis on reservoir pressure transient analysis.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER - California  will perform reservoir engineering activities for the Shale RMT and will be responsible for creating and implementing a large capital drilling and workover program. Experience in transient testing and analysis and a working knowledge of simulation tools and software required.  QUALIFICATIONS: BS or higher degree in Engineering and 10+ years experience in reservoir engineering.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER - California will be responsible for developing full field forecasts, booking and tracking reserves and working closely with geoscientists, reservoir engineers and operations to devise field development plans, drilling locations, associated economics and injection requirements.  Position requires experience with SEC requirements and experience in reservoir engineering evaluations secondary or tertiary recovery operations. QUALIFICATIONS:  BS degree in Engineering and 8+ years reservoir engineering experience.

 

RESERVOIR ENGINEER - Houston, TX will be a member of an Asset Management Team responsible for all reservoir engineering aspects of assets in team's area, including: reservoir surveillance, depletion planning, probabilistic reserve estimates for new well proposals and recompletions, decline curve analysis of existing wells and economic evaluations. Assist in preparation and presentation of submittals to the Corporate Reserves Group, preparation of annual budgets and potentially the evaluation of acquisition opportunities.

 

SR. STAFF RESERVOIR ENGINEER - Houston, TX will be responsible for maximizing value through reserve and production growth in company assets, budget preparation, SEC reserve evaluation, business planning and performance monitoring. Perform reservoir evaluations to identify drilling, workover and recompletion opportunities, to include well performance/nodal, petrophysical, pressure transient, material balance, volumetric, decline curve and limited reservoir simulation analyses.  Prepare economic evaluations to include drill wells, recompletions, workovers, and acquisitions/trades/divestitures. QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Petroleum Engineering, with at last 10 years experience in reservoir/production engineering role.
