Risk Manager Houston, TX

Job description:  Immediate opening for two full time Risk Managers in our Oil trading group in Houston, TX.  Immediate duties will include, calculating and analyzing profit and loss, tracking physical and paper positions and reporting them to the traders, setting up and executing hedging programs, forward M2M analysis, joint venture reconciliations, historical analysis of market information, and analyzing market trends.

 

You will be required to travel between Stamford, CT and Houston, TX for the first few months for training.

 

Qualifications:  We are looking for organized, hard-working and motivated candidates with a college degree in finance or business.  The individual must be aggressive and able to perform in pressure situations.  Must be proficient in Excel and have solid math skills. Experience preferred but will train.
