This position supports the Supervisor, Demand Response by assisting in the development and application of measurement and verification criteria and guidelines used by ISO New England for demand resource projects such as energy efficiency, load management, demand response and distributed generation, in New England's wholesale electricity markets.

Responsibilities include:
' Developing measurement and verification criteria and guidelines for demand resource projects.
' Reviewing the measurement and verification plans of demand resource projects submitted by the states, utilities, competitive suppliers, energy service companies and other market participants and making recommendations for the approval, rejection or modification of the plans.
' Reviewing monthly reports from demand resource providers in support of the settlement process.
' Assisting in the evaluation of the performance of demand resources that are participating in the wholesale electric markets or demand response programs.
' Working with State and Federal policymakers, utilities, competitive suppliers, energy service companies, retail customers and other market stakeholders as appropriate, to facilitate the participation of demand resource projects in the wholesale electricity markets and demand response programs.
' Preparing written materials, making executive level presentations, organizing and facilitating meetings, supporting the development of regulatory filings and testimony and participating in technical conferences related to measurement and verification of demand resource performance.
' Supporting demand response programs and other demand-side resource and wholesale to retail market linkage initiatives.



Requirements include:
' BA or MS is Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
' Minimum of 5 ' 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of energy efficiency, load management and demand response projects in residential, commercial and industrial facilities.
' Demonstrated experience evaluating the performance of energy efficiency, load management, demand response and distributed generation projects and programs.
' Familiarity with the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocols (IPMVP).
' Experience analyzing performance data (including interval meter data) from energy efficiency, load management and demand response programs including applying statistical methods and techniques.
' Demonstrated experience in leading an initiative from start to finish, making executive level presentations, navigating stakeholder and regulatory processes and working with a diverse group of market stakeholders to reach consensus on issues.
' Excellent written and oral communication skills.
' Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and/or SAS.
