Senior Project Analyst - Business Development (JC)

Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing, is currently seeking a Senior Project Analyst for our Houston, Texas office. The Project Analyst will be responsible for providing evaluation and counsel on data review and economic modeling in support of Enbridge?s grass roots and acquisition asset opportunities.

 

Specific Accountabilities:

? Research and prepare financial and operational data for evaluation of acquisition and grass roots projects in support of Enbridge?s asset growth goals.

? Develop economic evaluation models using valid assumptions supporting proposed capital investments.

? Provide studies and analyses of energy pricing, gas supply, contract terms and competitors to establish project evaluation viability.

? Support and advise development of midstream, Natural Gas, NGL, power and crude project opportunities to realize competitive and profitable proposals and purchase offers.

? Coordinate due diligence process through collection, screening, review and distribution of project material.

? Develop and maintain project database in support of Team project development efforts and post-mortem review.

? Advise and assist Asset Teams and other departments with evaluation methodology. Provide support for special projects.

? Support planning process by assembling, consolidating, updating and analyzing data for forecasted capital expenditures and goal achievement.

? Create special reports to support strategic initiatives.

? Coordinate the development and exchange of energy forecast data with other Enbridge companies and within Transportation Group South.

 

Typical Qualifications:

? Business or engineering degree with at least to 5 to10 years experience in project evaluation.

? Background in energy industry including E&P, pipeline and power sectors.

? Proven PC spreadsheet and graphics presentation skills; superior analytical skills.

? Capable of working with a broad range of individuals in a team environment.

? Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven people and organizational skills and versatile at facilitating management across the organization.
