Sr. Project Manager: Pipe, Values, Fittings

Purpose

Under supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, performs administrative and office sales functions relative to sales inquiries, customer orders, quotations and coordinates communication to all support groups.

 

Job Duties
Process inquires/orders via all current flow channels as assigned . Ensure accurate input of sales data required to process orders or inquiry responses.
Receive incoming inquiries on assigned products. Plans and defines requirements in coordination with branch personnel and customers.
Define competitive pricing based on current market intelligence as required to complete quotations. Seeks alternative sources of supply on miscellaneous materials to provide value added customer service and improve company profitability.
Analyze and provide sales data to branch and sales managers
Furthers company?s MRO sales effort by providing assistance as required to the sales and corporate contracts group.
Maintain knowledge of company and competitive products, product application and prices to properly serve customers and company employees.
Communicate request status/results to appropriate personnel.

 

 

Education and Previous Experience
At least 3 years of experience in the oilfield or energy-related industries required
Working knowledge of energy products such as flanges, valves, fittings, MRO supplies, pipe, and high yield materials.
Proficient in industry practices and familiar with Energy customer needs.
