SUPERVISOR - FIELD METER OPERATIONS

The San Antonio Water System is recruiting for a Supervisor-Field Meter Operations to supervise in a Meter Reading capacity.  The Supervisor-Field Meter Operations works under limited supervision.  The minimum requirements for this position include at minimum, a High school diploma or GED, two years college courses in business administration or related field, five years experience in water meter reading, water meter repairs, plumbing, and maintenance of a distribution system or the equivalent, including two years' experience providing functional guidance and training to staff. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database and computerized customer service software.  Position supervises 40-45 people and selected candidate may be required to participate in position specific physical testing.  Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds occassionally; pushing a maximum force of 105 pounds; and pulling a maximum force of 105 pounds when performing the duties of a Meter Reader.  Subject to standing and sitting for long periods of time to perform job scope.  Working conditions are in an office environment, but may occassionally walk up to four hours a day in the field.  The salary range for this grade 28 position is $2,747 - $4,120/month. SUPERVISOR - CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL CENTER

The Supervisor - Customer Service Call center is responsible for supervising activities of Call Center Operations to meet the operational and financial goals of the section.  The Supervisor-Customer Service Call Center works under limited supervision.  To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:  At minimum, High School diploma or GED, two years of college courses in Business Administration or related field, Five years' customer service experience in customer contact including two years' administering call center operations and providing functional guidance and training to customer service staff, proficiency in computerized customer service system software, word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
