About the Opportunity This Supervisor of Regional Operations - Line is accountable for managing assigned projects and resources in the Montrose Region Transmission & Distribution operations area. Develops subordinates to ensure they understand and follow procedures, duties, safe work practices and compliance with the terms of labor agreements. Responsible for safety awareness and accountability among employees who report to this position. Knowledgeable of Electric Transmission & Distribution Infrastructure and related processes associated with workflow and systems. Develop, implement, and manage work plan to meet requirements of master schedule. Supervise resources and lead implementation of work assigned. Respond to emergency conditions to support public safety and system reliability. Accountable for the success of operations center, region and other related processes. Identify and implement effective proceures for accomplishing work associated with this process.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required, as well as specialized training or equivalent work experience.

Must have experience in operations and construction of Electric transmission and distribution systems.

Must possess understanding of labor agreements, NESC code, and electric utility policies and procedures.

PC proficiency required. Must have the ability to learn various computer mainframe applications and PC applications to include Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office.

Previous experience coordinating and directing the work of others.

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Must be able to travel, organize and oversee multiple locations.
