Position Description:

CHEVRON NORTH AMERICA EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION (CNAEP) is accepting online applications for an Trainee/Fieldman #50160335 located in Coalinga, CA through September 2, 2006.

Qualifications:

Must demonstrate strong skills in the following:
o Computer skills, to include Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
o Analytical capabilities
o Mechanical aptitude
o Teamwork ? working with peers, contractors and supervisors in a courteous and professional manner
o Communication abilities (written and oral)
o Leadership
o Aptitude for embracing change, being proactive, continuous learning and working in a fast paced organization
o Work ethics
Experience in the following would be a plus:
o Well Test Evaluations
o Dyno Analysis
o Wellbore Mechanical Knowledge
o Knowledge of artificial lift systems
o Knowledge of steamflood operations

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:

Two-year degree or technical certification in production technology (or related field) desired
