Turbine/Generator Project Manager

This position will work primarily at TMI and/or Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.


Primary Responsibilities
Manage Turbine/Generator and associated auxiliaries outage related projects. Turbine/Generator disassembly/reassembly, inspections, modifications, associated repairs.


Manage all aspects of Turbine Services work scope at assigned site.
Plan, prepare, schedule, and manage contracts, and budget. Provide technical support, manage on site staff, oversee project execution from inception to completion.

Provide required status to chain of command.
Manage projects per outage management templates and standardization process.
Provide information and constant PM peer Team interaction.
Provide accurate schedules utilizing optimized process.
Provide accurate budgets for corporate and site review.
Attend required meetings.
Manage contracts as required per project.
Travel as directed.
Provide site interface.
Manage Alliance team activities.
Provide technical information.


 

Required/Preferred Education/Experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years nuclear power plant experience.
Extensive knowledge in the areas of Turbine/Generator Maintenance (components) or Operations (systems) or Engineering are required. Must be competent in network and PC based systems. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Project management background and B.S. degree preferred.
