Under specific direction, performs non-technical tasks to maintain structures, equipment and grounds common to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract facility sites and structures. 
 
1. Assists in performing non-technical tasks such as shipping and receiving, materials stocking and/or inventory.
2. Assists other workers with running errands, i.e. retrieving supplies/materials for tasks, holding objects (materials requiring more than one person), cleaning up after completion of tasks, etc.
3. Moves furniture and equipment as assigned.
4. Loads or unloads material, parts or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors or trucks, manually or using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
5. Ensures all light fixtures are operational, change light bulbs as necessary.
6. Observes assigned area(s) for damage, etc., and reports to supervisor items needing attention: makes routine repairs and adjustments as requested.
7. May assist in inventory of materials for reference.
8. May perform routine security tours of buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates, to ensure they are properly secured.
9. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
10.   Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
11.   Performs any other miscellaneous duties as requested.

Requirements:
High school education or equivalent.  Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language and to possess basic mechanical skills and aptitude.  Proficient in use of common hand tools such as wrenches, cutters, pliers, screw drivers, etc.  Handles up to 50 pounds unassisted.  Valid driver’s license.  Team player committed to working in a quality environment.  Ability to work 2nd, 3rd shift, holiday and weekends as required.
