$100K+ Mechanical Engineer for Leading Electronics Company

A global leader in electronics is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Seattle.  The company specializes in the design and manufacture of electro-optical display products, subsystems, and discrete components for the aerospace and defense industries.



The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for complex engineering projects with wide latitude for action and decision-making. You will perform research, design, development, and testing of the products and mechanical systems, and establish mechanical design parameters.  You will also design systems using CAD tools, mathematical modeling, and analysis techniques.  Other duties include:

- Interface with other disciplines and participate in a team environment using concurrent engineering practices

- General manufacturability of the design using at least basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7 to 10 years experience in mechanical design, preferably in mechanical switch experience.  Excellent team-building, organizational and communication skills as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs are also required.

 

Compensation:  Starting Salary to $100,000 per year, PLUS Full Benefits

 

Location:  Seattle, Washington. Relocation assistance is available.
