2313 Associate RF Engineer

MetroPCS Inc. was formed in 1994 to provide an affordable, simple to use wireless service for customers in metropolitan areas seeking an alternative to traditional landline or wireless service. Our rapidly growing company is seeking an Associate RF Engineer for our Orlando Market.

 

The Associate RF Engineer will assist in the RF Engineering operations. The scope of the job will be to perform site visits and data administration, drive testing as necessary, and will perform post processing of drive test data.  Unusual hours on occasion may be required. Must be fluent with computers, and the necessary software for the job includes CAIT, ACTIX, and others as may become used in the future.  The responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 Prepare routes for site and carrier integrations, and system drives.

 Perform system drive tests, for new site integrations, carrier additions, and other optimization routes as required.

 Post process drive tests, prepare and maintain site drive test folders.

 Assist RF Engineers in other job functions as deemed necessary by Director of RF Engineering

 

The desired candidate will have two years Technical/Trade school or directly related equivalent experience; plus 0 ? 1 year of wireless telecommunications experience. Skills required include communications, initiative, adaptability, organizational, and superb computer literacy.

Education/Experience:

 

Two years Technical/Trade school or directly related equivalent experience; plus 0 ? 1 year of wireless telecommunications experience. Local candidates only. Must be authorize to work United States with no additional requirements.
