3 month opportunity for an excellent Analysis & Reliability Technician.

Global leader in the Electronic Manufacturing Services industry is seeking a Reliability Technician.

Major responsibilities for this job includes:
Perform laboratory tests and project support as directed.
Understand elementary electrical circuits, FA and reliability testing
Understanding of elementary SMT processes & procedures
And test set up to facilitate FA and reliability activity
Understanding of Hazardous Materials handling and ESD avoidance procedures.
Ability to understanding IPC, JEDEC requirements
Knowledge and/or willingness to learn software and hardware associated with FA and reliability Lab.
Understanding of the anatomy of a solder joint.
Familiar with fundamentals of electricity, mechanics and materials.
Continuous improvement of core competency in advanced technology.
Comply with departmental time tracking procedures for all work performed.
Willingness to learn new procedures and techniques and provide customer satisfaction.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

This job requires an associate's degree in metallurgy, materials science, or related technology area from accredited university or college, experience in a laboratory, or the equivalent in education and experience.
